DELHI - VARANASI - KHAJURAO - AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR -SAMODE - JODHPUR - RANAKPUR - UDAIPUR - BOMBAY - AURANGABAD - AJANTA - AURANGABAD - BOMBAY

 

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Meeting and Assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon enjoy combined city tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Red fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat, India Gate, President house etc. Entrances to Monuments and Guide are not included (only car with Good Driver). Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi-Varanasi
Transfer to airport to board flight for Varanasi. Afternoon visit Sarnath, the burried Buddhist city, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the museum.

 

Day 03 : Varanasi
Early morning boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the Bathing Ghats and cremation site. Watching people bathing and worship-ping at the ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. Later visit the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas mandir, Banaras Hindu University which has an art gallery.

 

Day 04: Varanasi - Khajurao
Take afternoon flight to Khajuraho and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 

KhajurahoDay 05: Khajurao
Visit the world famous Khajuraho temples built by the Chan-dela kings between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D. The erotic sculptures on the exterior of temples here have always been the cause of curiosity. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Khajurao - Agra
Transfer to airport to board flight for Agra. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 07 : Agra
Morning visit Taj Mahal-The Eternal symbol of India and Agra, built in white marble. Taj Mahal was built by Mugal Emperor Shahjahan for his Empress Mumtaz Mahal. 20,000 workmen worked for 22 years to complete it. Also visit Sikandar - The Tomb of the greatest Mughal Emperor Akbar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Morning breakfast at the hotel and drive to Jaipur. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri - named as The Abondoned city. Built by great Mugal Emperor Akbar, as his capital but after few years abandoned due to scarcity of water. The whole city is built of Red Sand Stone. On arrival transfer to hotel.

 

Day 09 : Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning excursion to Amber fort, enjoy elephant ride over there. Afternoon visit Albert Hall museum, Observatory and Palace of Winds. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 10: Jaipur-Samode
Morning drive to Samode. On arrival check-in at Hotel Samode Palace - Old Palace converted into a hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 11 : Samode
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Full day free to enjoy. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 12 : Samode-Jodhpur
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Jodhpur located on the edge of Thar Deserts. The city is known for its Striking Forts, Stately Palaces and gracious Buildings. On arrival transfer to hotel Karni Bhawan (Heritage hotel). Visit Mehrangarh Fort…most impressive fort in Whole Rajasthan and Jaswant Thada Museum. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 13 : Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
Morning after breakfast drive to Udaipur. Enroute visit Ranakpur- famous for 500 yrs old Jain temples with intricate carvings. Udaipur is referred as a Lake city, situated in the vally of Aravalis andon the banks of the Shimmering Lake Pichola. On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14 : Udaipur
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Full day free to enjoy. You may visit City Palace musuem, Jagdish temple. Also you can to for Boating on Lake Pichola. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

UdaipurDay 15 : Udaipur
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day free for independent activities. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 16 : Udaipur-Bombay-Aurangabad
Transfer to airport to board flight for Aurangabad via Bombay. On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 17 : Aurangabad-Ellora-Aurangabad
Visit Ellora Caves - The world Heritage site is one of the finest example of rockcut caves. Lord Shiva sculpted on the rocks - the largest monolith in the world is said to have taken 7,000 labourers, working in continuous shifts. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 18 : Aurangabad-Ajanta-Aurangabad
Visit Ajanta Caves. Beautiful frescos, wall paintings and vivid sculptures at Ajanta reflects the peak of ancient Indian art and architecture. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 19 : Aurangabad-Bombay
Transfer to Train station to connect train AC CC for Bombay 14.40-22.50 hrs. On arrival transfer and check-in at hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 20 : Bombay
Morning half day city tour visiting Gateway of India, Mani Bhawan (where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay) etc. Also drive past colourful Crawford market and marine lines. Afternoon free for independent activities. Morning enjoy excursion to Elephanta Caves. A ferry ride across the harbour takes you to these eight century rock-cut caves hewn out of the hills and sculpted intricately. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 21 : Bombay
Transfer to airport to board flight back home.
